INDICATIONS
Red Indicates Bulk - This
is high current charge when the battery is in a discharged
state with the voltage below 13.5 volts. This high current allows
the battery to be brought up at a rapid rate without boiling or
excessive heating.
Yellow Indicates Absorption - This is
a medium current charge used to finish charging the battery at a
rate that would not boil or overheat the battery. During this
stage the battery would have a charging voltage of 13.0 to 14.4
volts.
Green Indicates Float - This stage is
a low charge rate to maintain the battery in peak condition and is
reached after the absorption stage. During this stage the battery
would have a charging voltage of 13.0 to 13.6 volts.
